What’s involved in your role?
I usually start the day by having breakfast in the office while writing up my to-do list for the day and organising my inbox. I have specific tasks that I need to do on certain days of the week, so I do those first. These tasks include writing reports on the awareness of WB films prior to release and working with Box Office numbers. Once these are done I work on my ad hoc projects or ongoing tasks. Overall, most of my tasks involve liaising with people across all of EMEA.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Working in EMEA Theatrical Distribution means I am in constant contact with people from all over the EMEA region. I have enjoyed learning how different cultures influence the distribution of WB films in these markets. The level of responsibility I am given really makes me feel like I’m part of the team and having an impact.
What’s your favourite WB film/TV show/game?
My favourite films are the Harry Potter films, Prisoner of Azkaban in particular. As of recent it’s also A Star Is Born.
What’s been a highlight for you so far?
My highlight has to be the screenings and events we are invited to go to. My favourite was the press screening for A Star Is Born, which has become one of my new favourite films.
