Warner Bros. is a world-renowned company responsible for some of the most successful films in the entertainment world. I believed that applying for a Publicity placement with Warner Bros. would be an exceptional opportunity for me to gain experience within an industry that I love and prepare me for a career in Publicity.

What’s involved in your role?

I honestly don’t have a typical day. Each film will have a variety of unique activations that we assist in organising and in some cases, carrying out. As part of the Digital Publicity team, I’m responsible for communicating with Burbank (Home Office) and all EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) markets about anything from Snapchat Lenses, to media promotions to prize packages for premieres.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

What I enjoy most about my role is constantly working on new events and activations. My role is also quite unique as I work closely with both the digital publicity and digital marketing teams, which means that I’m constantly learning and gaining invaluable experience in both fields.

What’s your favourite WB TV show?

There are way too many to choose from but my favourites would have to be the Harry Potter films, Game of Thrones and Friends.

What’s been a highlight for you so far?

The highlight for me so far is meeting people who genuinely care about helping you get the most out of your placement. My team have been incredibly welcoming since day one, giving me the confidence and encouragement to grow as a person, in every aspect of the word.
